  • Shuttle service: Agree to ARRIVE on time at the pickup location in the morning at 9AM. Location: the Portland Transportation Center, 100 Thompson's Point Road, Portland, ME 04102. If you miss the shuttle, there will not be another one. You will need to return home.

  • PLANE + SHUTTLE: If you are traveling by plane, please arrive the day before and stay at a nearby hotel (there are many to choose from) to be ready for 9 AM pick up the next day. You can secure a taxi to the pick-up location.

  • DRIVING to Maine + SHUTTLE: If you are driving, its best to arrive the night before and arrange to park your car. Inquire about parking rates with the Portland Transposition Center.

  • DRIVING from Nothern Maine: Please contact us to determine what will be the best option for you.

  • CHECK OUT: Sunday, May 19 at 9: AM. Shuttle will drop you off at 11 AM to pick you up at the Portland Transposition Center.

  • PETS are not allowed at this location by the notice of the owners. Nor do we accommodate service animals due to allergies, the comfort level of others, and insurance liabilities.

  • Agree To Chem Free: We do not allow alcohol, marijuana, THC products, vaping, or smoking of any kind on site. If you are on prescribed anti-depressant medications, please consult us first to determine if this setting will suit you.

  • Agree to be Scent Conscious: Please note for your own well-being, we do use ceremonial scents like Frankincense, Palo Santo, Sage, Sweetgrass, and natural herbal clearing products created by Iynala Vanzant. However, Please note some participants and facilitators are very sensitive to pungent smells of perfume, oils, and animals, causing asthma attacks, migraines, and other forms of allergic reactions. We do not want to say Scent Free. It is vitally important to be mindful of the comfort level of others.

  • Agree to Dress Down: No Bling required. Please leave the designer clothes, nails, and jewelry at home. We ask you to only wear loose-fitting/ comfortable clothing to move, sweat, and/or get dirty in without a care. PLEASE, NO HEELS (We don’t want you to roll your ankles). We encourage layers- PJs, sweatpants, sweatshirts, tee-shirts, sneakers, hiking boots( for outdoor activities/excursions), flip flops for pool sauna, hot -tub), fleece jackets (it will be chilly outside), bathing suits, and yoga-type comfortable pants!

  • Agree to Let your hair down! (literally)  Gurl, we know, we know - okay, so here’s the deal. You will sweat, get wet, and experience scalp messages- leave the hair weaves at home. All this to say, we don’t want your hair to be a barrier to experiencing activities with/ in water. Please wear your hair naturally. We don’t want tracks, wigs, perms, relaxers, or hair pieces to be barriers to your full engagement and experience.

  • Agree to be Unplugged: No electronics/ No cell phone conversations. During this precious retreat time, we ask you not to come tethered to cell phones, laptops, or tablets or check on emails, business, home, etc. If you must work during the retreat/or keep tabs on personal business, we ask you to reconsider attending.

  • Most importantly: Agree to allow yourself to be cared for by other BIPOC wombmen.
